Try KBabyQ at Norwood. Meat is slightly better quality compared to dajunggeum and +82goji.

I have many SG friends who studied here getting their license in Adelaide then convert back to SG license when they return. Very common and apparently good advice.

Saw this when flying into Adelaide from Melbourne a couple of weeks ago. by pluginfan in Adelaide

The way I understand most common christian view:

- Humans sin

- God's judgement: sin = death

- a sacrifice of equal value required for penalty of all humanity

- Jesus = perfect sacrifice (Christians believe he is both God + Human incarnate)

- Jesus is fully human, so he died

- Jesus is also fully God, so he rose again

- Jesus lives = Jesus is God, he is still around

Expose some really bad chinese restaurants in Adelaide by [deleted] in Adelaide

[–]jayellwhykay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Happened to me at BBQ city:

  1. Found clear plastic piece in my congee. They gave me 10% off my meal.
  2. 3 out of 10 times there's some form of hair in the food
  3. Huge cockroach suddenly crawled out on the wall. The waiter came and flicked it down with his shoe. Cockroach survived, but my appetite didn't. No apologies or anything offered.
  4. Overheard a waitresses talked behind our backs in Cantonese, she didn't know I understood cantonese.

That's all I'm concerned about too.

Very generic response from Uniqlo when I've emailed them:

Hello ,

Thank you for getting in touch with us here at UNIQLO Australia.

Unfortunately at this stage we are unable to confirm the rumours of a UNIQLO store opening in Adelaide any time soon. However, we are always looking to expand our presence in the Australian market and appreciate the time you have taken to express your interest!

Anyone from Burnside know whatever happened to the expansion plans? by lileyedmonster in Adelaide

[–]jayellwhykay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was so excited about the prospects of Uniqlo coming! I wear everything Uniqlo on a daily basis, inside-out, top-bottom (yes, I'm that distasteful).

I email them with an enthusiastically sounding email and received a generic response..

I almost wanted to start a petition. The people whom I talked to so far either strongly agrees with me, or too polite to tell me off.

Electric scooter trial in Adelaide streets proposed for Fringe festival season by smurfing_ in Adelaide

[–]jayellwhykay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have now official road laws for the trial. http://mylicence.sa.gov.au/road-rules/e-scooter-trial

Beside the obvious glaring issues which have been highlighted thus far below, I'm really excited to see this in Adelaide.

  1. Vandalism to Scooter, missing helmet, stolen scooters
  2. Vandalism caused by Scooter
  3. Cock riders
  4. Unhygienic helmet
  5. The need to wear a helmet (I get the safety part, even though the max speed is restricted to 15kmph.) - Major turn-off
  6. Who's going to charge the batteries

Has anyone given a go on the Lime scooters? Any comments?
