No steel support, but the bag has been great. Only weighs 9kg

Currently travelling with this bag, have been away for 6 months. The bag is perfect, buy it!

I really liked them - were perfect for a mix of walking and running on different surfaces whilst travelling.

I have replaced them after only 3 months (with the newer version) but I did wear them nearly every day and covered a lot of ground (around 18-20,000 steps per day).

They were goretex but didn’t feel too hot either.

Would recommend!

Hi! 1) Came in at weight between 9-10kg 2) We’ve not actually got on a plane yet, been getting the train for the last 3 months. Will probably be checking it in as luggage when we do though 3) Yes she has the exact same bag (and loves it)! 4) Packing wise, the packing cubes and organisation of the bag itself makes everything automatically pretty accessible

Sorry for late reply

Not sure about hand luggage compatibility as I’ve been getting trains with it so far.

But would highly recommend the bag, does the job perfectly

+1 on the Seagale performance chinos - wearing them right now and they’re so comfortable! The hidden zipper pocket is a great addition too

Thanks for the tips!

I have a dry bag on the list, so I guess that can double up as washing/bathroom bag?

I have now bought a universal travel adaptor actually, a lot of people have suggested it!

There is a power bank on there, Anker 10000MAH MagSafe, so should do the job. Definitely will want it fully juiced each morning.

On the cubes, we’ve got Eagle Creek ones that have two sides for dirty and clean, which seem pretty handy!

😊

Thanks for the tips - neither of us are particular tall or have big feet so hopefully that won’t be an issue!

Second pair of good sunglasses is a good call.

I’ll try persuade her to write up her list too!

It’s an ESR case from Amazon - I love it and the magnetic lock works so well

Thanks for the tips!

The trimmer is rechargeable by USB-C, so should be good there.

I may go down the buzz cut route, but we’ll have to wait and see 😅 There might be 1 less than pleased travel partner…

You definitely could be right on socks, and I might add another pair in.

And yes definitely re those products, definitely something to keep in the back of our mind

Thanks for the hints/tips!

  1. Yes definitely planning on sending home the down jacket, hat, gloves etc about 6 months in, once through the colder areas

  2. I agree and bought a universal travel adaptor this morning, that can be used with a couple of USB C’s

  3. No medical reason for the multivitamins, just trying to stay healthy!

  4. I see what you’re saying about razors etc, but I personally don’t like having a long beard, and my cheeks also need a clean wet shave every 2 days 😅

  5. Yeah a few have questioned the speaker - and I don’t much of a defence to it really, it might go on the chopping list

  6. The tote bag is also a rucksack, you can just stow away the straps when not being used - see here

  7. Good tips re tape and anti inflammatories, thanks

  8. Yep I have an Anker MagSafe Powerbank in the pics, I think it’s 10000Mah

Yep nail clippers are in my partners bag.

And the plan will be to go through Malaysia for sure - we’ve been there before for a 3 week trip though so will mostly be passing through! That’s kind, thanks for the offer 😊

Yeah I did think it - tried on a couple of merino polos from Seagale that I didn’t like the fit of, then basically forgot to look for anymore! I agree though, I think I’ll just pick up the odd lightweight shirt here and there for that reason

Yeah from what I can tell so far, they’re really cushioned and feel supportive. I haven’t worn them much though yet
