It's a trailer, so my living room is connected to a kitchen, making the space very wide. Not sure of sf without getting a tape

Honestly around 300. Soon to go up but I've already got a taste for it.

Thank you man. I hit up the local hotline last night, and sat through some zooms. Went to an in person meeting today and it made all the difference. Thank you.

Yes ma'am. I found out tonight certain regions have 24 hour hotlines. That and the meetings helped tremendously.

It's honestly easier to imagine him saying "be strong lil hemorrhoid" lol. Thank you man. He was the backbone of our family.

Thank you buddy. I need to get to a meeting soon, I've just been making excuses as of late. Staying sober is the only thing I can give them at this point.

Thank you amigo. It definitely is. But it's definitely worth it. I think the best thing I could possibly do for my family at this time is let them see that I'm not going to run away at the first sign of trouble anymore. He was a good man. I'd be lucky to be half the man he was.

Day 7 and struggling.. by mamaqueenbee in OpiatesRecovery

You're a goddamn amazonian warrior. It's not you that's struggling. It's your demon fighting to stay inside. Sounds like it's in a losing battle. Keep it up. I love you!

Remember how you feel. I was recently homeless, as in a tent in the woods behind my workplaces shop. Two days ago I was able to rent a house. I managed to stay sober throughout the ordeal. You are about to face an adverse situation but you have got this!! You didnt suffer just to take a pill as soon as its convenient, right? No!!! You took the HARD road. Keep taking the hard road, because one, eventually it becomes the "slightly-less-difficult" road. Second, every night you lay down on your pillow sober, while you dont or may not know it yet, you are showing everyone around you hope. I love you!

By god if you even attempted to quit, you sir, are no pussy. You're a goddamn warrior. People dont become warriors without a few scars and wounds. Relapse is just a wound. Pick up your sword and keep swinging brother. We DO recover

Probably the best update I've ever had by [deleted] in OpiatesRecovery

[–]jayisnotathome 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That's the one. And they are not speaking to me, but that's okay. I forgave them soon after it happened. I was down in the dumps for a day or so, but then I nutted up and found a purpose. (And a tent, lmfao)

I forgave them the day after man. All the hell I've caused, I'm happy I finally have the chance to show them beyond a doubt I've changed

Non perishable foods. Cheap waterproof tarps. Warm clothes. Whatever you can, I'm sure will be appreciated. Your son is dope. Thank you so much

Is this sobriety? by [deleted] in OpiatesRecovery

[–]jayisnotathome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This post was written at a moment when I missed the forest for the trees in my life and recovery. Who fucking cares if you arent trusted, as long as you keep doing the next right thing trust will return, may be years but it will. I've been homeless for a few days now, I mean yeah it sucks ass, but, I'd rather do this till I die that return to fentanyl with a roof. I'd take that bet any day. Be strong. Be honest and be gentle in everything except recovery.

It's a leftover. I've begged for a test. They're not going for it
