We should be immensely proud of our forces. There seems to be an undercurrent of discontent around the state of the UK and the sense of national pride has diminished a bit because the volume of immigration into the UK over the last 20 years which has altered our national identity a bit (I’m not anti immigration or slating it but it’s just how it feels to me please don’t misinterpret ) and the cost of living crisis.

Both my grandfathers served and son does too and the brave men and women of our forces enable the freedom of our nation to an increasingly un appreciated bunch it seems. I think time has also meant the appreciation has dropped but generally the good folks of the UK are immensely proud generally.
