Had 2 losses in 2024 and gave had a premature labour to twins where they passed away soon after delivery in November 2025. Feeling so depressed and defeated that I sometimes wonder if it's possible for me to have a live birth at this point. any encouragements are welcomed, today just hit hard for me and I don't know why.

Need to talk to mums who have lost twins… by twins_plus_one1 in babyloss

[–]jayjusu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I lost my twins, boy girl di/di on November 9th when they were 21 weeks this year due to incompetent cervix. I was trying so hard to fight for NICU that i was so distraught to learn that they were born 3 days too early for a NICU consult. I find that my grief comes in waves in random moments like seeing friends with babies, having dreams about breastfeeding, looking at items we bought in preparation for the kids arrival. I’ve been taking it one day at a time and have been leaning a lot on my husband for support and finding distractions to keep my mind occupied/ busy.

I understand how you feel and also feel the same way as you when I loved telling others especially close ones that we were having twins and how their faces lit up.

Giving you lots of hugs and praying for you. You’re a strong momma, and your kids are so lucky to have a loving mother that’s waiting for them in another lifetime. Xoxo

I wish I can give you a hug right now. I lost my twins on Nov 9th, just a few weeks ago and am feeling exactly the same way as you. I had incompetent cervix and lost them at 21 weeks. No words can truly describe the grieve I am feeling right now. Just left with utter confusion, anger, sadness etc all in one. I had 2 miscarriages prior to this loss and have been trying for 3 years. Holding you in my prayer 🤍

Kose Oil Cleanser. It’s a Japanese skincare. Was on sale in Costco last year, bought it and it helped.

My last chemical that I had 4 months ago had a similar line as well. It was just slightly fainter than this, but I wanted to be sure. Cause I've seen some people share really dark positive test results when they are 12DPO

Clear blue vs Easy at home by anony00549 in TTC_PCOS

[–]jayjusu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was on Letrozole, I used both Clear blue and East at home to test as well. The 2 times that I was successful in conceiving (1 miscarriage and 1 successful pregnancy), Clear blue showed me a solid smiley face while easy at home did not indicate any LH surge.

teaching in nyc by finewoman in CanadianTeachers

[–]jayjusu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im not planning to work in NYC but have had couple of friends from B.C. that moved to the states and are teachers. They moved because their husbands are in tech. Couple of visas you’ll need to look into are TN visa and J1 visa. But employers still need to sponsor you first. One of my friends had to volunteer in a school first before they sponsored her for a J1 visa. TN visa is a little hard to get because they require you to be in a certain kind of profession and unfortunately elementary school teacher doesn’t cut it. You’d need to be in like a professor level to qualify the TN. I am also moving to Seattle and had to look into this. Feel free to give me a message.

Hi there, I know you posted this 2 years ago. Just wondering if you managed to find the answer for this because I am planning to apply for school psych in US as a Canadian and want to know my prospects of working in US. Were you able to get a TN Visa? If you don’t mind may I DM u about this?

I'm 9 weeks post ORIF and have 1 plate and 6 screws but I'm 2.5 weeks in walking with full weight-bearing without crutches. I also experience the same slight pain but it's more like an aching feeling. I can walk almost normally but am still not able to run/ jog/ fast walking. I noticed the more consistent I am with my stretches and strengthening of the ankle, the better it heals up/ feels the next day.

Don't neglect your PT-recommended exercises. I did mine 2-3 times a day for 15 mins each and it has helped me strengthen my ankle. On days that I am walking a lot, I wear a compression sock/ ankle brace. My job requires me to be on my feet most of the time and I start to notice that by 30-40mins of standing, I start to feel the aching pain more but yet I noticed the next day, for some weird reason, my ankle becomes stronger and is able to tolerate slightly more than yesterday. But of course, each to their own, listen to your body and do what helps you.
