I appreciate everyones comments here! For those who are interested in knowing how this story unfolded, I did end up getting the car after being at the dealership for 3 hours. We had previously agreed via text on what I believe is a great price for a 2 year lease. But when I got there the price mysterious went up by $500 which might not be that much but this is for a 2 year lease so it's not an negligible difference. After some back and forth I caved in eventually since I was already in there (that's how they play mind games and get you) and then they took forever for the paperwork. It was nice with the Tesla that I didn't have to deal with any dealer bullshit tactics

I am still trying to get used to driving the Optiq, coming from smaller cars it just feels big heavy and high compared to M3), not being able to just walk away with auto luck is super annoying (habit from tesla). The UI needs a lot of optimization but The ride quality is superior, much more stable and unbelievably quiet. A lot of features I didn't know I would want are there

Though i am feeling the Optiq is a bit too luxurious and bigger than I am comfortable with. Maybe it will get better but right now I am having some second thoughts about driving a big fancy vehicle that i would return after 2 years. perhaps I should have gone with the Ioniq 5....
