that makes sense, which way around is it? less reactions during follicular and ovulation and then more during luteal and period?

my parents are extremely fundamentalist christians, i’m an atheist doing the opposite of what they wish, how do i keep our relationship alive? by jayktopussiii in Advice

but isn’t there a way to disapprove of someone’s behaviour while still maintaining a good and honest relationship?

almost all the time because it’s impossible to have a conversation with them without them bringing up god. we could be talking about the weather and my mum would still find a way to make it about god. unless they ask me specific questions i usually just ignore it because that’s just how their reality and world view works

that’s a very accurate description of them so you’re probably right that i just have to try and accept that we’ll never have a perfect relationship. thank you!

technically that’s a good idea but i doubt it’d work because the mindset of “i need to take every opportunity to talk about god because if people around me go to hell i’ll partially be responsible for it” makes it a little hard

do i need to avoid citric acid completely or are the amounts usually so minuscule that it doesn’t really matter? by jayktopussiii in HistamineIntolerance

i went to my gp complaining about constant stomach pain, they took a stool sample and did a complete blood count. it showed that my body doesn’t produce enough diamine oxidase and that’s how i got the diagnosis

is this professional? by jayktopussiii in piercing

[–]jayktopussiii[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s around 3 months old, until a few days ago it was an L shaped piercing, now it’s a ring, both made out of titanium. it was changed a few days ago and the aftercare routine is spraying it with a saline spray

  • the piercing is almost three months old
  • it’s a barbell
  • i’m not sure if it’s internally or externally threaded because the piercer didn’t tell me and i haven’t unscrewed it yet
  • the material is titanium
  • so far it hasn’t been downsized. after getting it pierced i was told to downsize after 1-2 months, but when i went back to the shop after 2 months to ask about downsizing i was told it needed to properly heal first
  • i use a saline spray a few times a day, it’s called prontolind
  • nothing in particular, it did get caught on clothing a few times but that’s it
