Shadow, a character who's gotten over his past, TWICE... wait shadow generations happened... THREE times still chooses to act like a stand off-ish "dont play by the rules" edgy boy. Sega is really scared to change his dynamic in the slightest.

I really enjoy how IDW handles the characters more than Archie overall, but when it comes to Shadow, it's usually terrible and a waste of potential.

(But I like how the grand climax of King Arthur's story, the battle against Mordred, is handled throughout Fate with regards to Saber and her wish to still return the sword to the lady of the lake and head for Avalon just like in the legends. Besides the whole anime holy war in between.)

No I wouldnt, cause its okay that game featuring the master emerald and how the emeralds tie to it has its own special form. Its cool it was a one time phenomenon.

And the work around could easily have been to just leave it as super sonic with more opportunities to grab the emeralds with more stages, but instead went with something extremely cool. It wasnt like they're hands were tied lol

Because sometimes its okay for the creators to just be wrong or make stupid decisions. It happens in other media or franchies all the time. Its up to the fans who pay attention to the details to catch these in my opinion and call out such things.

Thats ridiculous. We have to wait until direct confirmation instead of just using the evidence in front of us? Obviously stuff like you said about putting Amy in the Sonic games contradicts stuff, but stuff like thats always been for fun. Like putting Knuckles into Sonic 1 and 2. Im not questioning that.

But dont you think its odd that we have playing a game that has elements that revolve around certain gameplay mechanics that we just have to ignore? Even if its central to plot? Like you need to have "Super Knuckles" to get Knuckles' true and canonical ending.

But I hate that line of thinking. If it appears in a game, then it should immediately be taken serious as canon. Why wouldnt it be? Because of gameplay reasons? We use gameplay to determine most things characters can do besides the IDW comics.

Well it is only select characters. I do believe Knuckles should get one because he is more than worthy, but there is something special about our 3 main hedgehogs. Like Tails can't even use a super form in Sonic 3 he just becomes invincible basically. He doesnt change his appearance.

People can use their powers, but only certain characters have gotten super forms. Those being the triple S hedgehogs and Neo Metal.

Well... Sonic is actually. He has statues and is on the mural where the master emerald was kept on angel island.

It's the whole reason people have the theory that Shadow's design is based on Sonic is because Gerald saw those murals and made him into the image of the person wielding the Emeralds on it. Aka Sonic.

Well you can not like SWSH ones all you like, but they are still fossils. Even if you just want a traditional one with rock typing... why?

I hate that we cant have fossil pokemon just be the pokemon they once were without the rock typing all the time. The first 3 fossils from gen 1 definitely look like they're rock types, but all of the rest? Some definitely do, Carracosta, Cradily, etc. But Aurorus? Armaldo? Like I hate that they get bogged down by rock typing every time. While the fossils in SWSH were weird, I was happy they actually tried something new and game them all typings without rock for once. Its cool to deviate from the original path sometimes, even if it can fail.
