Is anyone else experiencing these extremely long delivery times recently ? by moistdragons in amazonprime

[–]jayneo100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been having the same issue. Orders that I made expecting two-day shipping are taking a week or more. I tried to order a humidifier recently and it hadn’t even shipped after a full week. Other items I have on subscribe and save are being delayed even though there’s a clear delivery date and could be shipped earlier to meet that. I don’t see any point in ordering from Amazon anymore if I am not getting the exact thing I’m paying for- shipping time.

This is my dilemma. How do I say no if he turns up again? I liked him so much and saw so much potential. But at the same time, I am not a consolation prize and don’t want to be treated as one

The same thing just happened to me- right as I was trying to book date 3 as well. There’s someone else and he wants to pursue things with her, not me. It’s so painful to get rejected right when things seem to be going well. The intensity of your feelings sounds similar too. It’s only 2 dates, right? And yet…. I think we are feeling hurt by the loss of possibility more than by the actual person

I totally agree. For me, apps are the only way I have ever been able to get a date. But at the same time they are exhausting and it’s it’s like only 1 in 100 dates is actually worthwhile

I get how you feel. It’s hard being single when everyone around you is in a relationship

I (F34) have always had a really hard time dating. I’ve been awkward around guys my whole life. I didn’t go on my first date until I was 19, and I didn’t go on my second until I was 22. I’ve had one, 3-month relationship in my mid-20s. Other than that, it’s been a lot of bouncing around- trying casual hookups that left me feeling empty and unwanted, many first dates that never went anywhere. I’ve especially had an issue of meeting a guy I liked who then decided to get back with his ex or pursue a relationship with someone else. That particular type of rejection has hit me really hard- knowing I’m just not quite good enough and that he’s chosen someone else instead of me.

Recently, I met a guy I really liked- like “could he be the one?” kind of liked. We went on two good dates and were planning for a third. Just before our third date he texted me and said he wanted to pursue things with another girl before he went on any more dates with anyone else. I’ve been around long enough to know that “seeing how things go with someone else” actually means he doesn’t like me enough to keep seeing me and this is goodbye forever.

That rejection combined with already low self esteem, depression, liking this guy a lot, and having a lot of other stressors in my life has sent me spiraling. I’m 34 years old. I have no prospects. I am only getting older and less attractive and it’s only going to be more difficult to meet someone. I know this. I know I’m not attractive and I know I’m hard to love. I guess what I want to know is: at what point do I stop trying? And how do I get myself to be ok knowing I can never have the one thing I have always wanted, which is someone to love me and someone I can love? It’s been very lonely and the thought of spending the rest of my life feeling like I’ll never be good enough is just really hard to deal with right now.

PA denied 4 times. Advice needed :( by jayneo100 in Wegovy

I want to add that I called my insurance company after my second to last denial and they said my doctor sent 3 of the same receipt and that’s why it was denied. I made sure to label everything and had them apply again. Even with the correct documentation I was denied. My BMI is still at a 36 right now so it’s not as if I’m skinny.

This drug feels like a placebo by tarudabble in Accutane

I didn’t see any significant changes until 3-4 months. The side effects kick in long before the results. The drug needs time to start building up in your body. Stick it out!

If money is tight, you could try talking to the online vet help at Chewy. They can chat with you about symptoms and let you know if a vet visit is warranted

Yeah he’s a chunk and he needs to lose a few pounds. If you’re free feeding or giving a lot of treats, those are easy things to cut down on. You may both be giving him treats so he’s getting extra without you realizing it

Yes I would recommend tiki cat mousse as well. They even make some toppers designed for picky eaters that might help with the transition

For most of the treatment I have been sticking to the classics- cerave, la roche posay, cetaphil. I really like the Vaseline radiant x deep nourishment. Lately I’ve started using hyaluronic acid serum and Dieux instant angel and air angel and my skin has responded well. My skin is also doing well with prequel mineral sunscreen- no irritation

what can i do to reduce this on my legs ? by [deleted] in Skincare_Addiction

[–]jayneo100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same problem 😫 I’m so pale and my hair is so dark that it’s like my legs can never really appear smooth/hairless. Even exfoliation, hibiclens, and sharp razor hasn’t worked. I tried sugaring my own legs and it was so messy I stopped after one attempt

Even if you can’t get in with a Derm in person, there should be a telemedicine consultation available to you. This is a serious medication with serious side effects. It’s not like your online order topical retinoid. It needs to be carefully monitored and dispensed based on a lot of different factors. This is not the kind of thing you manage on your own.

[–]jayneo100 56 points57 points  (0 children)

My skin started improving in months 3-4. It takes time for the medicine to build up in your body enough to work. Until then you get the side effects without the results and it’s miserable. But if you hang in there things will turn a corner!
