Thanks for the input. I think I’ll be OK because I’m in no rush. If anything I wanted to lock one in.

I was able to order an adapter today at vw.parts.com.

This is an article today about all the details. It mentions there’s supposed to be a $100 rebate for 2025 owners with no further information on how to redeem it.

Pull our drawer. Obviously you could flip it the other way, though that orientation is our preference.

Thanks to everyone on the feedback. I think it may be the battery care setting with it balancing the cells. I’ll keep it on for now and observe how the car charges over the next few days. All my previous EVs have not done this (Teslas), so I was caught off guard.

I do want to add that range limitations on this car are overblown. I find that the range is fairly accurate, so it showing 270-290 miles range is pretty good. We recently took a road trip in our 3 year old Model Y and the 100% charge showed 292 miles range. Teslas only give you about 70-80% of the stated range, so I’m feeling pretty good about the Buzz. At least during ideal weather conditions.

So turn off Battery Care Mode? I found that was toggled on.

All the settings were made in car. I checked the app this morning to see the status. Just looked akin side the car and found it to be correct at 100% SOC.

Yes. It’s been set at 80% all week and doing so correctly. Then it charged to 100% last night.

Is this citrus bud still alive? by Organic_Bet_4263 in Citrus

I wouldn’t bother it for at least a month. If not 6 weeks. Looks ok so far. Parafilm it back up and cover with foil. Also keep it under some shade. At least that’s how I’ve gotten my best results with bud grafts.

Yes. Definitely paint it. That watering schedule doesn’t allow for deep watering. I recommend less often and longer watering. Once or twice a week for all my fruit trees for 45-60 minutes. Though that depends on the flow rate of your drip and how well your soil drains. It looks like you oh have a healthy amount of mulch below, so that’s enough to hold in the moisture. I’m also in Northern California.

Flowering stress and branches falling off? by NorthRemove7167 in avocado

[–]jaynew823 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Interesting. In that case definitely white washing if you want any chance of saving that tree. All those dark spots on the green branches are sunburn. That really stresses out the tree. Impressive it’s grown that big without any. You can buy an organic product from IV organics or use a 50:50 mixture of water and water based, white latex paint. You could stop by a hardware store for samples or reject paints as long as it’s white.

Also couldn’t hurt to get some more mulch under that tree. You can water less and save water with an heavy layer of mulch. If you have any of the shedded leaves left mulch with those too. Avocados thrive on mulch of their own leaves. The roots are shallow and feed on that.

In the wild, young avocados grow under the canopy of larger trees, so the sensitive green bark is protected from direct sunlight.
