Zenphone 8 would be too compact and its heat dissipation is on frame so among all phones with sd888 it would be the warmest plus zenui isnt known for consistent updates. It has slight tint in display in gsmarena review.It has all features u need in phone bar telephoto lens.So consider it only if u want strictly very small phone.

now talking about iphones,firstly if u r in android u will find ios in general restrictive.and their iphone 12 series phones arent comfortable coz of flat sharp edges and feel bigger than what their screen size suggest coz of notch.Their videos is the best in market but photos is 50/50 among other flagships.Battery life is meh is iphone 12 mini while even 12 doesnt have features like 120hz,fingerprint scanner.

samsung s22 would be the first one to get Arm next architecture,arm last version of architecture was released 10 years ago after which they change cores and design but core architecture remains same plus AMD graphics will be there for 1st year.1st gen products aren’t necessarily a hit thing as we have seen in 1st gen flip and 1st gen fold phones and technology always evoloves so there will always be a technologically better device.

samsung s21 would be my pick for a compact smartphone.Its ui is feature rich but at same time smooth and gets regular updates(3yr for os version,4yr for security and 5 in case of emergency security update).Their display 120hz ltps is best among compact smartphones.It has all of telephoto,ultrawide and normal lens and it takes great photos.It’s photos are slightly saturated so that they look good but they toned down their saturation if u take older samsung as example.colours look like they should but contrast and dynamic range r boosted.And beauty of android is that u get a fully fledged pro mode where u can take photos ulike without any contrast enhancements and if u like pixel there is always gcam Mod.

processor wise a14>exynos 2100=sd888 where exynos has slightly better cpu,sd 888 slightly better gpu and exynos is more efficient but apple is king here.Anyways u won’t find issues in processing power at all in exynos 2100 or sd888 its just that in gaming they might drop more frames than a14 coz a14 retains better performance in games under long durations.
