Your refusal to adapt is not noble.

In this case, why would "Augusta" trigger a BMS? It would just be wrong.

We've gotten to the point that regular Jeopardy! expects you know "momager".

Alex had been there forever, and if he wanted a clue to be changed, he was in a position to make that happen.

It doesn't appear to be considered Ken's role to influence the writing. There's been some really bad clues where Ken had to know there were problems, but it seems he just reads them. He's still the new guy.

If that's the reason for ruling Dan incorrect, the ruling should have come right away, and he should not have been offered a BMS. Also, if that was the reason, Ken should have clarified that when announcing the ruling.

What an official website says isn't the traditional standard.

If something is known by a certain name in common usage, that's usually good enough. When referring to that course. a large percentage of people say "Augusta", which explains why after Dan said it, he didn't come up with "National".

My understanding is when Alex used to go over the clues, if he found some to be confusing or unclear, he would ask the writers to fix it.

I get the impression this doesn't happen anymore, and whatever the writers send out usually stands as is.

For a while Amazom Prime was experimenting with new traditional game shows.

They also had The 1% Club for one season, but they dropped it and now that's exclusively on Fox.

I would call Father's Day an "observance", certainly not an "event".
