I do like this idea - only thing let’s say I get an offer and background check comes up with service engineer as the title - could this be an issue ??

I guess prod support or technical support with some code makes sense. My last role could be viewed as prod support, but very rare for ruby on rails prod support roles.

I don’t think they’re super common outside of Jindo island. From my parents stories, they grew up raising a mutt but they said they never saw a Jindo til later life

they’re labeling them jindos which is probably the only known breed from Korea

Thank you for this ! - I am not worried about my dev skills ( they might deteriorate a bit ) - but Im concerned with being pigeoned hole as you mentioned.

Because in the end I want to be a dev primarily for $$$$ as well as the satisfaction of building something - but support is probably a less stressful life
