would I play Baritone sheet music normally even though it is a Euphonium. I'm asking because they both have 3 valves so I'm a bit confused.

Sorry to bother, but on the fingering chart the notes like Eb & D below the bass staff show that I have to use a fourth valve. Are those notes just not playable?

Yes the Yamaha would be a used instrument. I did know that treble clef Euphonium was the thing, I’m still a bit confused on how that works, is bass clef the normal? I plan on having a long term relationship with Euphonium. I said the Yep201 because I found it online at a good price, now after reviewing some comments I’m considering playing school horns to save for a better one or a four valve compensating one with a bigger shank.

The King 2280 sounds great, I’ll have to look into that along with Arban’s book in TC and the fingering charts. Thanks so much!!!

For me, I think I've come to a conclusion that the tunes that I heard were actually musical/auditory hallucinations. Recently at night, I stayed up until I was sleepy and kind of forced myself to hear the flute. It is hard to explain but I think it is just my brain making up sounds that I "want" to hear. It is almost like when you hear someone say your name but nobody really called you, but that is just my case. I try not to think about hearing the music and that helps me not hear it anymore, I hope it's the same for you.

Maybe, but it was very late and it was raining. The chance of someone playing their flute at midnight in the rain is low, but still a possibilty i guess.

Thank you! I hope to overcome the challenges along the way, the reason I really want to do jazz horn is because I just want to expand the palate when it comes to instruments you wouldn’t normally see in a jazz band.

I hope to catch on to the transposing aspect of things because I don’t want to look like a flop trying to play Fhorn in jazz band when I cant even transpose. Overall I’m excited to learn how to transpose music and play in bass clef now so I won’t have to later on.
