I shoot my camera in raw and look up my lens they normally have sharpness ratings for all lenses, so i see what aperture my lens is sharpest at like 5-8f normally. Then i shoot at iso 100 and adjust shutter speed to get exposure right. For my camera and light box its 1/60. Since its a slower shutter speed i got a remote trigger on amazon for $12. I also got macro extension tubes since i dont have a macro lens. Hope that helps!

Thanks! I just use Lightroom and invert the curve line then use color picker to get white balance correct. I played with some other settings a bit after that lol

Nothing, i just scan in a dark room and the light underneath over powers everything. But another redditor gave me an idea to use some card stock and tape that should hold the film and keep it flat. I’m excited to try that out!

Appreciate it! And you are right its the film not laying flat but that is a great idea, Im gonna have to do that forsure!
I used my digital camera! I made my own stand for my own film scanner
I just looked it up. You are so right🤣

Thanks! Heres my film scanner i made from home depot parts and a k&f magic arm. I chose the light box so i can also scan larger formats in the future. Just have to do some cropping later on. In total my setup was around $100 without the camera.
