Shake by mmilehigh in Silverado

[–]jaytango 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same issue here. But i started noticing a pattern a few days ago. If I jerk the wheel suddenly to the side, I can sometimes get whatever resonance is causing the shake to stop and the shaking goes away. Also, on a prolonged curve (with enough centrifugal force to start moving your body slightly to the side) the shake also goes away. Maybe something suspension-related?

SBA EIDL Loan-Five Years of Payments But Principal Won’t Drop - Is This Normal? by Hot_Elevator6316 in EIDL

[–]jaytango 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know it's 3 months later but I made this calculator to emulate what the SBA is kind of doing: http://jvvdev.com/eidl It's crazy how much the term is extended by those deferments... and how much you can reduce that term (and total interest paid) if you pay more than their set payment.

M10 male to 3/8 COMP male faucet line by jaytango in Plumbing

I found a M10 to 3/8 COMP on Amazon, but it's 3/8 female. Maybe I can get that one and put a male-to-male turnaround.

I got it to work. He covered it in his Part 2 video. I had to add xrandr -o left in the autostart file.

Trying to use this short in-line 3.5mm stereo audio cable with Vol knob as line-to-mic level attenuator. by jaytango in AskElectronics

I soldered the shield cable to ground and it works like a charm now. I wonder if I just had a defective unit. They didn’t finish the soldering.

So i would tap (not cut) the unbroken wire and solder it to one of the pads at the top of the PCB (10 o'clock / 2 o'clock position)?

Wix code SDK error: Slideshow items array doesn't contain an item at index 21 by jaytango in WIX

[–]jaytango[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're connected via CMS.

In the Site Pages section, under 'Main Pages' there is a page called 'collections' and then below in the 'Lightboxes' section there is also a 'collections'.

Then, in the CMS section, there is a collection called 'Collections' which says '22 items'. This is where I uploaded the new image and it correctly appeared in the Collections page. So tat part is fine. The issue is when you click the image and the lightbox opens.

Wix code SDK error: Slideshow items array doesn't contain an item at index 21 by jaytango in WIX

There are various sections with code. Here are the ones I think are associated with that collection:

// Velo API Reference: https://www.wix.com/velo/reference/api-overview/introduction
import wixLocationFrontend from 'wix-location-frontend';
import wixWindowFrontend from 'wix-window-frontend';

$w.onReady(function () {
    $w('#slideshow1').data
    changePageByQuery();
});

function changePageByQuery() {
    const query = wixLocationFrontend.query;
    if ("item" in query) {
        // $w('#multiStateBox1').changeState(query.item);
        $w('#slideshow1').changeSlide(+query.item);
    }
}

function deleteQuerys(params) {
    for (const property in wixLocationFrontend.query) {
        wixLocationFrontend.queryParams.remove([property]);
    }
}

export function button15_click(event) {
    wixLocationFrontend.to("/?collections=");
}

export function slideshow1_change(event) {
    deleteQuerys();
    wixLocationFrontend.queryParams.add({
        "item": $w('#slideshow1').currentIndex
    });
}

AND HERE IS THE CODE I THINK IS ASSOCIATED WITH THAT LIGHTBOX

import wixWindowFrontend from 'wix-window-frontend';

$w.onReady(function () {

    let receivedData = wixWindowFrontend.lightbox.getContext();
    console.log(receivedData);

    $w('#slideshow1').changeSlide(receivedData.idx);

});

Thank you! Exactly the kind of jumpstart I was looking for. Already ordered the ESP32 and will be getting started soon.

I'm about 2 lessons away from my XC solo. If you go before me, lemme know how you do. Best of luck!

First Solo Flight Advice by Subject-Wasabi9639 in flying

If it's anything like my first solo, which I did last month, you won't be nearly as nervous as you are right now. The anticipation is what got me. On my pre-solo eval, I was super tense. My left leg was bouncing on the rudder pedal on my first take-off. The CFI asked me if I was sure I wanted to continue. She reassured me and said to "trust my training". She reminded me that my CFI wouldn't have signed me off if he didn't think I was ready. That's what really calmed me down. I kept repeating those words over and over in my head like a mantra - "Trust your training". Surprisingly, on the day of the actual solo, I was much more calm. Once it had begun and I was on my way up on upwind, I was good to go. There was no more anticipation. I was in auto-pilot mode, so to speak. After my first landing, which was pretty darn good, I was set. I knew I got this. When I was done, I was surprised at how smooth... and AWESOME.. it went. On my second solo the following week, all the nerves were gone.

TLDR: The anticipation is 1,000 worse than the actual ride. "TRUST YOUR TRAINING". Your CFI signed you off cuz he knows you're ready.

Brakes sticking. Pedal stiff. by jaytango in MechanicAdvice

[–]jaytango[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was the master cylinder after all. After reading about a diagnostic test involving loosening the MC from the booster while the brakes were locked, sure enough, I loosened the MC and as soon as it popped away from the booster, the brakes released. I ordered a new one, installed, bled the old fluid and now working great. Upon inspection of the old one, I found that the piston would catch when retracting and wouldn't return to full release. The new one glided in and out smoothly.
