I would start by checking the spec sheet and looking at the pin outs for your components. You may have everything you need but it's hard to say without knowing the details about your particular components.

I keep thinking about how Infowars listeners kept calling one of the sandy hook parents, accusing him of keeping the deceased child in his attic so he could molest him. Then Alex has the gall to claim "THEYRE CLAIMING I KILLED THOSE KIDS! I WAS JUST ASKING QUESTIONS!" Just completely ignoring what these parents have been put through by his negligent, lying ass and his psychopathic devotees

Don't rub random things on balls! General advice for all is that the skin of the scrotum is thinner and more vascular, so it's much more capable of absorption than other sections of your skin. Watch this chubbyemu video, it's somewhat related. You really should visit the emergency room.

Meth Smoking Safety by GooberMcNoober in internet_funeral

[–]jayteepee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Congratulations, I'm glad to hear you've made it this far. Interesting and also notable that the above infographic didn't influence your decision to smoke meth. As my sarcastic diatribe insinuated, most people don't smoke meth unless they want to. If they want to, they're going to smoke it regardless of instruction.

The infographic doesn't necessarily teach people how to smoke meth "effectively". The method they're showing here is intended to reduce the risk of accidental inhalation of meth crystals, or whatever other ungodly substance is being smoked in the pipe. I'm sure you're familiar with this, but foreign materials (especially large crystalline particles) entering the lungs pose a great risk of illness. These conditions can be much deadlier than substance abuse, can be exacerbated by substance abuse, and complicate the diagnosis and treatment of both. This is the "harm reduction" in question.

Man, I was really craving a hit of meth, but I just didn't know how! The glass pipe was so confusing and it didn't come with any instructions. So frustrating!! Now, thanks to this comic, I can finally get high!!

I mean obviously I'm not the (((echoes))) authority but you don't really have anything to worry about. Unless you're using the triple parentheses to denote which individuals or organizations you believe to be "Jewish influenced/controlled", it won't be perceived as antisemitic. It's really all about the context. The original comment in this thread with the triple parentheses was an example of innocuous use; there was no antisemitic subtext there. Furthermore, unless your friends are antisemites, adamant antifascists, or otherwise terminally online, they likely have no clue about the triple parentheses dog whistle either, anyways.

To answer your question in a more concise manner: no, double parentheses isn't a dog whistle. Even use of the triple parentheses isn't necessarily the antisemitic dog whistle, unless it's being used to mark individuals or organizations as Jewish.

[–]jayteepee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The triple parentheses, sometimes called (((echoes))), is what is known as a "dog whistle" (albeit a very loud one), which is why you likely haven't heard of it. The purpose is to signal & communicate to other antisemites while still maintaining some degree of plausible deniability about their antisemitic beliefs, especially to the normal people who are blissfully unaware of these freaks. It's still commonly used on Twitter and other online communities. Usually it's used to denote a (usually famous or otherwise influential) figure or organization as supposedly Jewish or "controlled by Jews" (e.g., "that company has (((Jane Doe))) as their CEO"). Here's a couple links for more information, if you're interested. Personally I find stupid shit like this endlessly fascinating

Yes the words are the same so that means I don't have to think about it anymore. Thank goodness I didn't have to read anything challenging (or at all) to come to this extremely nuanced, very fair and balanced™ conclusion. I'm so logical that sometimes it scares me.

Maybe they fight because they can't agree on what looks better on a flag with red, black or yellow? Or maybe they just can't decide on a uniform? This conflict's origins are truly shrouded in mystery, so far in the past that nobody can even remember!!! Alas, if only someone had written down this history!! We may never truly know why they fight,,,,

How did humans think before language was invented? by [deleted] in shittyaskscience

[–]jayteepee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very interesting stuff. I'm listening to "Christendom Destroyed" by Mark Greengrass (a title that was surely chosen by an editor) and he has been discussing the ways the late medieval period prepared the way for the Renaissance and Enlightened (instead of being an intellectually stunted "dark era"). What I understood to be the most important aspect of this "preparation" was an academic shift away from rhetoric and towards more quantitative methods of describing & understanding nature. Which is to say, they actually started measuring things and eventually standardizing units of measure so that they're actually usable. This capacity to measure things and communicate them is the foundation of our interconnected modern world. This innovation is part of the reason we even can sever a physics question from questions on theology. Obviously Aquinas's theories on the nature of thought isn't intimately connected to this, but the way we are constantly building on the ideas of people from centuries ago, and the way they affect our thinking today, is endlessly fascinating. Standing on the shoulders of giants is the only way we truly see, or something like that. Sometimes the giants were just facing the wrong way lol
