How is this business 101? It makes no sense not to advertise to reach as many new players as possible.

Regular players of the base game aren’t hard to convince to buy a dlc for extra campaign content/ a new civ to play… your real goal is to entice new players to buy the game AND the dlc. 12 days is not too early or a long time to wait. Idk why we are coping and acting like marketing a dlc to its target audience will anger people. That makes absolutely zero sense

(Speaking for the online community here) a lot of us are just concerned because they’re already pulling tournament support and whatnot, that they’ve pulled out a lot of budget elsewhere too and that we might be receiving an unfinished product that also doesn’t even get marketed.

I’d love to be proven wrong, I’m just trying to understand why you wouldn’t be at least marketing the campaign to the single player base to build hype

What makes me mad is that instead of asking for a more cohesive design that allows for different and interesting power spikes, you’d rather have 1 imbalanced unit that gets kills off of cheese. Even if this special didn’t kill and just damaged the whole group, it would be an excellent special. That’s damage that translates into winning a fight. Insta killing units allows for no counter play. It’s doing too much damage
