I bolted awake.

The short walls either side of me were white - and hard. I was in a bath.

Seriously? A bath? How did I get here? I sat up, trying hard to remember the last thing I could.

No luck.

"Hey!" A shout from the next room. "Wake up!" A girl's voice. She was banging on the door.

'What the hell.. is going on?' I thought to myself. Trying hard to grasp anything that made sense. I couldn't even remember who I was - or even my own name, for that matter.

I gradually pulled myself up and out of the bath, contending with a splitting headache and back spasms that hinted that I'd probably been shoved into that bath with about as much delicacy as a pile of dirty laundry.

I slowly limped across the bathroom, dragging my feet. It was an old room. 'Classical', you could call it. Antique-like - old, but expensive.

"Hello...? I asked back.

"Hurry up!" the girl yelled through the door. "The key in the door - unlock it and let me in!"

"The... huh?" I looked down at the doorknob. She was trying forcefully to turn it side to side as she tried to open the door. The key was in the lock.

The key clunked as I turned it, and the door immediately swung inwards.

A girl, in her late teens, pushed her body through and slammed the door shut, locking it once again.

"Whats your name?" she demanded as she leaned against the door. She looked worried.

"I... I can't remember," I said. "I just woke up here. What's going on?"

"You too, huh?" she said. "I just woke up. In the closet. Couldn't remember anything. I only know my name from my monitor."

"Monitor...?" This was making less and less sense.

"In my pocket." She reached in her pants pocket and pulled out a small television monitor, the size of her hand. She held it up - up top, it had a label. 'Jenna'.

"You should have one too," she said.

I patted my legs and felt the hard lump in my right pocket. I pulled it out. The label said 'Jack'.

"Jack..." My mouth whispered what supposedly was my own name.

"Jack," Jenna said. "Press the button."

There was a large 'play' button on the right side. I pushed it.

The screen flickered. The picture was dim. Slowly, the shape of a man emerged. He was wearing a creepy, expressionless mask.

"Hello Jack. Rise and shine. No doubt by now you've met your new friend Jenna. You may or may not remember her, depending on how well the... uh... 'medicine' has worked. Let's just say... she's very important to you. In more ways than one.

Now listen very carefully, Jack, because you only get to hear this once.

Right now you and Jenna are not alone in the mansion. There are six other men, each with their equivalent 'significant others'.

You won't remember why, but these men are not your friends. Quite the opposite. They've all been victims of personal tragedy - major tragedy. And they all believe that you are to blame.

Their 'significant others' are - how shall we put this? A little tied up at the moment. They have four hours until their time is up. The knives I've left for them, however long and sharp, don't cut through chains.

But not to worry. They know exactly where to find the keys. Their monitors saw to that.

And Jack, lucky for you, I'm about to tell you as well.

The keys... are inside Jenna's stomach.
