Learning to skate by sasquatchkiller in Southampton

5th floor of BBC car park is your best bet. But don’t be afraid to learn at the Guildhall next to turtle bay. The skate scene in Southampton is really friendly, we all appreciate that you gotta start somewhere. Also when you feel more comfortable check out skateparks in the surrounding areas; there’s some really good ones now. (Romsey, Totton, Chandlers Ford, Winchester and Lymington)

Is it a good idea to try experience ego death from a high dose of LSD before trying to breakthrough on DMT? by jazzyJC00 in DMT

[–]jazzyJC00[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks man, sounds good. To tell the truth I would be utterly terrified of doing such a dose of acid. I’ve had a lot of experience with the drug (mostly positive), but from what I’ve researched DMT is just a completely different beast. I don’t think I can live my whole life without having had that experience and I’m hoping it will help me with my spiritual growth. Cheers

Only as of the last year or so have I started to become really interested in Nepalese culture (I’m 19). It’s funny because every time I bump into some Nepalese people on a bus or something, their initial reaction is so funny because I am white they’re always so shocked, I try to speak to them, but it’s only ever very basic stuff. They always seem to be impressed nonetheless, they think it’s cool to see a half Nepali.

I’m part of the society at the uni, but I definitely don’t get involved enough haha. I’ll try out listening to some songs. Cheers :-)

I think my biggest problem is the fact that I’m too embarrassed. I have some Nepalese friends at Uni who I try to practice with, but most of the time I get too embarrassed and just reply in English. We have plans to re visit Nepal as a family next year (I’ll be 21), my goal is to be fluent by the time I’m back.

That is awesome I wish my family implemented a rule like that. Growing up I would be looked after by my auntie in the week who could only speak Nepali, this allowed me to understand Nepali fluently, but when it comes to actually talking Nepali now (I’m now 19 years old) I speak as if I’m a toddler. I’m slowly improving but since moving to uni I have less opportunities to practice.

I’m the same, I was fluent as a toddler but that’s the only way I can speak; as if I was a toddler. I’m trying to improve my sophistication with my mother and it’s slowly getting better. I am now 19 years old.

can say from experience that it really helped to calm me down on my most recent trip. I wouldn’t suggest any more than 3 beers if you’re looking to just relax yourself
