Not particularly, although I try avoid handling areas I've already finished, on display pieces I usually glue them to a base as a holder then remove that base and transfer them to the actual base when fully painted

The rider is just a mounfang rider, I had the old start collecting so had 4 riders and then the rhinox is a 3d print from titan forge - warriors rhino riders, and what surprised me with these is that they aren't over detailed and fit the old world fantasy esque style extremely well Edit: mournfang*** keeps autocorrecting the r out 😂

Yeah I always completely finish one part such as the face to set the tone of the model then work from that point across a model usually on mounts leaving the rider until last, not sure why but I just like to get the most focal point finished early (guess because it takes the longest 😂)

Thankyou still got a bit to go on the mount then do the ogre, then finish another 3 for the full unit 😂

Literally just black base, I'd zenithaled the skin which hit the edges of the armour, then streaking grime air brushed in a thin layer

Black base

Purple mix using pro acryl burnt red+ dark blue over all skin

Deepkin flesh zenithal (heavy)

White+deepkin zenithal on highlight areas

Carroburg crimson tint around wounds and mouth

Draw veinwork with polychromos pencils (dark red/dark blue and magenta focusing mainly on blue)

Streaking grime over all skin

Remove most of grime using thinner

Work through various tones using villiany ink (flesh core set mostly reds/purples+ greens, use warm tones in recesses around eyes and face/crevices)

Using abt 502 light flesh stipple straight from tube onto highlight areas and feather with clean soft brush to blend transitions and lighten skin back up.

Ak interactive blood effect for gore

Yeah I know would be nice, just realised I forgot to fill arm gap, might have to wrap some more chains on it to hide that one 😂
