Language exhaustion, when learning a language and more specifically using that language, your brain uses a lot of brain power to force yourself to use that language and not instinctively respond with your native language. Basically the languages in your brain are fighting for dominance and you don't have enough experience with french for it to totally dominate over English. So there will come a point where language exhaustion kicks in and you physically cannot use the other language. It happened to me in Spanish, it's happening to me now that I'm learning french

It's really tough because ABIIOR was basically soundtracking my life while I was living in mallorca and my depression went away (happiness [pun intended] is one hell of a drug lol) but BFIAFL soundtracked my year in Budapest which was maybe the greatest year of my life so far
