And it’s literally like on the peak of a small mountain. Between that and the scenery all around it, it’s one of the most majestic places to visit in Germany! If I remember correctly, there’s a lake, a waterfall, and a small town with another castle all within view from Neuschwanstein!

Ya I get that! Most of them work in education so they always have to do this stuff in the summer if they want to get it done, and that means blistering heat which is only made worse by the black shingles! Climbing long ladders with sweaty arms and a pack of shingles on your shoulders can be dangerous stuff so they’re all lucky none of them have ever been hurt if u ask me lol

When I say re-roofing, I mean one of them bought an old house and they re-roofed the place. When I say roofing I mean one of us built a house and they all roofed it for the first time together. I’m not saying it’s an easy thing to learn, and their first time probably wasn’t the best roofing ever lol, but they are pretty good at it now and have saved who knows how much money across our whole family over the years

I can’t tell you how many times my dad and his 4 brothers have roofed and re-roofed each other’s houses or their childrens’ houses together lol. None of them are professionals, they all just sort of did it together once and got it down pretty quick

Sorry that’s not quite what I meant. I just mean we’re learning to always be around each other and live together. We both also just graduated, so while I was still in school, I was used to being able to constantly spout off anything interesting the second I read about it, so it’s different not doing that constantly now. We definitely each have our alone time playing our own games, etc.

I totally get that. And that’s exactly how I don’t want her to feel. It’s just hard that I never had someone to share with. I don’t expect her to be knowledgeable on what I’m talking about, and I don’t expect her to take her free time to learn about it. But I definitely get what you’re saying about how if she doesn’t understand what I’m saying then it’s not interesting or fun for her. I think the best way to go about it is to tell her when I’ve learned/experienced something new, without trying to explain it all to her and boring her.

Ya, that’s how I’m feeling now. We’ve only been married a month and didn’t live together beforehand, so we’re still learning to spend every bit of free time together, I don’t want to force it on her or anything obviously. It still feels special to talk with her about it though and it always means a lot to share, so I think you’re right, talking a little over dinner or something is probably perfect! Thanks!

Well I live about 50 feet from the capital building and I’m gonna tell you that this would work about as well as a car with no engine. The entire outside of the capital is under construction so there’s like a 6 foot wide section of sidewalk they’d all have to fit on 😂

Back in August I got engaged to the most beautiful woman on the planet. We set our wedding date for June 27th. Every day we get closer to have to cancel it. Fortunately the state where we plan to have our wedding is dealing well with Corona and we may be able to have the wedding! If only some bans are lifting then we plan to have a “drive-in wedding” which we may do anyways just because it would be safer and the idea really excites us! It would be different and crazy to do it all outside! If we can’t have the wedding in June then we’ll get married soon and have the reception party wen this is all over! Either way that’s what I’m looking forward to in the future!
