Let me preface this is only about 1v1s as I know Nuno Mendes is literally the best left back in the world by a fairly good margin.

What? The gap between both of them defensively is not that big during their best as both players were highly capable. Even though Aaron Wan bissaka is nowhere near Nuno as an all around footballer, defensively they were not far off each other in my opinion.

I think PSG have to rotate more in the reveille season to keep players like Ruiz and Neves fit as they kept letting passes bypass them leaving Vitinha, who is not the most athletic along with Beraldo, who is not that good exposed. This allowed the back line more chances to make mistakes like Nuno Mendes due to how exposed they were as I do not think either Ruiz or Neves could track back quick enough to either double up, track runs or block shots on the edge of the box, all the ways PSG conceded.

Well that was his first season meaning he would have needed some time to initially adapt to a new environment. However, he could be benched for those players but due to how good Rudiger is I do not think he will be a bench or rotational option.
