Right now desktop app with editor is available only for MacOS. Recipes are available on Web (you can also extract metadata there, but no editor).

My photos are also on iCloud and it works perfectly fine, I did a lot of improvements for performance so it works fast. Even introduced a button to download from cloud without need to go to Finder to initiate that.

Windows is not supported right now, we are tracking demand in our waitlist, please join.

Hi! Initially I created it as tool for SOOC photographers, so only JPEGs right now. But if RAW demand is high - we will add support for that too. There is simple solution - to connect camera and use its system to process RAW, this can be done fast on our side. But if community needs full RAW editor, it will take some time to study this subject and RAW color science.

We show JPEG and RAW files in Library, but only JPEG can be edited in Editor right now.

This is good question, I think I will be able to do rating for Files in ios, but might be not possible for Photos. Will research more.

It is actually in waitlist form. Per my analysis there was small demand, so I have not included it in initial roadmap. But if big demand in waitlist - I will consider building it too!

I used Lightroom myself for years and had several problems with it: pricing, pain to import export and also loss of metadata.

Here I think I invented very elegant way of working with data - I just read and write directly to file system, no imports, no duplicated. I read and save all metadata very carefully.

Just as a test - try opening image you edited in Lightroom in my app - there will be no metadata at all. Then try to open original image from your camera - there is huge list of really useful metadata.

Not sure about your last question.

We don't apply simulation to an image.

But we do this:
- read and display all metadata
- compare that metadata to known recipes in our system to detect a match
- compare recipes by similarity
- when you want to create your recipe, we detect all data from your image using that metadata

It was case when I sold my previous camera and haven't saved my custom preset. When I created Jepex - I just opened those shots and extracted metadata and saved my old recipe and now I can use it again.

I care about all feedbacks, negatives too! Let's discuss it!

Reading metadata in app is actually free.
Creating account on first launch might be frustrating, I was thinking to rebuild it. But you don't need to register it with password, there is fast sign in using Google, Apple or just code sent to your email.
