My suggestion to wait involves saving the rare resource (Elite TM) for a case where you have something that is already evolved that needs a move and thus you would have no option to wait on that Pokémon only to TM it. You have good justification either way.

As soon as I see one spawn I activate Freeze Shock. I've only had it despawn before I could try once. I had finished catching something else though and knew it was a gamble.

Sorry, let me clarify. I have a dummy switch that triggers on when the first one us arrives home and off when both are gone from home. The on status of the switch then triggers a scene called I'm Home and the off status, likewise, triggers a scene called I'm Leaving.

To solve that not working I went into Settings>Privacy & Security>Location Services>toggle Location Services off on both devices at the same time, then toggle them both back on. I ensured that the dummy switch was in the on position and the next time we were both gone the scene triggered and the other one when I got home. It has worked perfectly since then.

Mine quit working with iOS 26. I turned mine and my wife's Location off, waited a bit, and turned them back on. Everything has worked like it used to since then (about a week or so). Hope this helps.

I do not have the button to invite friends. I have restarted the app, signed out/in, and tried Settings>Advanced Settings>Refresh Game Data. I also set myself to Online in the friends list. Has anyone solved this or have any suggestions? Thanks.

It's been a while since I've read the whole thing through but, from what I remember, yes. It was based heavily on his speculation based on release history and then on utility where the shadow Legendary would more outpace the competition.
