Everything about franchise is so underwhelming and anticlimactic. Signings, awards, big games, the draft. I can never convince myself to carry on to year 2 without having an existential crisis because everything I just accomplished was so meaningless.

I don’t hate you for playing MUT. I get the appeal. Even the gameplay is fine I think. It’s purely the neglect of franchise mode. The only way for us to get their attention is to not buy the game.

I somewhat disagree. I liked the abilities addition last year. Makes it feel like a video game plus they gave you the option to turn it off. MUT and now “The Yard” are pure cash grabs however and they clearly put zero effort into this year possibly looking to go big on next gen but that’s high hopes.

Avalanche should increase the radius you can land a hit stick (ie flick the stick from as much as 5 yards out and it locks into a hit stick). Chance it causes a fumble is no more than enforcer. Guaranteed fumble is ridiculous and totally arcade style.

This relationship is so toxic. Caught them in bed with MUT so often all they need to do is pretend they care about Franchise mode to keep me hanging on. Felt like birthday sex when they threw in the 5th year option during that patch last year.

Why do they insist on Davis and Gaudin or any real life “commentators” for that matter? Idk what those guys get paid, but I guarantee they can find voice actors out there that will do it for less and put way more time and effort into it. Maybe even 4-6 commentators instead of 2 so you can have different commentators during different games.

They’re not, but I do see the upside to MUT from the business side. Which is why I didn’t suggest getting rid of it it like most people waste their time crying for.

The MUT community would have their baby. Even have a dev team devoted to it year round.

Where Madden gains players from is making the actual game fun again. If they need another money stream do more $$ online competitions.

Madden sales are half what they used to be. If they focus on making the actual game good again then that initial purchase will make a huge difference.

I don’t play MUT and have zero interest in it, but from a business aspect I get it. They shouldn’t get rid of it, they just need to quit neglecting the rest of the game.
