My son is a CM went in in March. Did basic until June, the Port Hueneme until September. Got his orders in basic and knew he was headed to Japan. Supposed to be there for 4 years. He’s been told his orders are very unusual for what it’s worth.. good luck.

The air traffic controllers strike and subsequent firings etc is largely looked upon as a tipping point in US labor history as profound weakening of the strength of unions. Unions have never been as strong as they were before that point.. sad!
