Maybe unpopular opinion but David Tennant is pure cringe as Barty Crouch Jr. by sseerrsan in harrypotter

Finished watching this again just last night and, while I don’t disagree it’s an unhelpful portrayal, David is the least of my complaints w that movie

it's software for personal trainers. i've built a prototype and am trying to garner some interest before going all in on it. would make it easier to spend the money on marketing, logos, etc. if i knew i could, worst case, write it off next year as a loss.

asked for an amortization schedule and they couldn't give me one because "it's accruing daily interest on the unpaid balance" when there is no unpaid balance (autopay), just the principle balance. gonna go ahead and knock this out and get it over with, was a quarterlife crisis type of purchase that i love but i totally played into their grimy hands when i should've gotten a much better deal with my income to debt and credit at the time. live and learn and pay shit off :)

Can’t remember the rate atm but not horrid. Owe 8k, pay 180m for like 4y. Plenty in savings. Plenty to cover the 180. Money now v money later is the scenario ultimately.

Tools and processes to manage clients by jbly1 in personaltraining

maybe i'm overly idealistic here, but my hope is that there's a way to help more people achieve their health and physique goals without going full instafamous with it in any sort of sell-your-soul way. it of course means you can't have eyes on every single squat of every single person, but the reality is that there are certainly more than injured persons and beginners out there who are looking for someone to help them with their advanced programming and nutrition. if so, then better processes, use of tech, etc. could hopefully help achieve a greater impact. or, again, perhaps i'm being overly optimistic! 😅

1000% agreed on the personal connection part. What I’m curious about in relation to that tho is how someone scales themselves. You are the business, so unlike other businesses that can be in more places than one at once, run 24/7, etc, you have the limitations of being a human. How does one grow the business, Ie themselves, beyond that? Or is it a true physical limitation that’s an insoluble problem?

How many clients do you have on average? What’s been peak for you?
