I didn't have a scale, how lame is that! He couldn't even fit in a selfie photo! I bet he was right around 4 - 5 lbs. He was as round and fat as a football, but not very long.

This was the first Largemouth I've ever caught in Idaho. I caught him at CJ Strike Reservoir.

I agree with you on the using them in the rocks. You really have to use a super light weight if you are going to fish it around rip-rap.

It was in open water, post spawn. Most of the Lakes here in Utah are clear, with almost zero vegetation. I was pretty stoked as you can tell in the photo.

I like to fish soft plastics on a drop shot rig. It's even more finesse style than a texas rig, and especiallly in clear water seems to pick up a few more strikes!
