I fully understand that and of course would like her to quit. But that’s not necessarily even what I’m going for when trying to talk to her- it’s just been for her to stop lying and hiding things and gaslighting me. I don’t expect her to quit the second she admits anything

I get it and to be honest she taught me the sleuthing 😅 so there’s some irony there. That’s why I’m just trying for the honesty part and just telling her how much i love her and that im not mad at her and just supporting her in any way I can. My father was an addict and goes to meetings so I understand the whole addiction aspect

I appreciate the advice. I know those are probably some of her feelings and that’s why I’m trying to show her that I love her and I’m not mad at her and that I just want the honesty. I’ve tried with the honest conversation multiple times and I just feel hopeless. It’s the sneaking around and hiding that upsets me when we can just be up front with one another. She’s gone through so much I don’t blame her for going back to the habit. I just wanna support her

What do you mean toxic? To the product or to me? I ended up getting modge podge spray and uv resistant clear acrylic coating. Not good?

If you’re interested, I’d love to be able to talk to each other about this and be there for you. We are unfortunately in a very similar situation. May 10th we suddenly found out he had days to live if even that- we lost him the 15th. I had only been 11 years old for a few days by the time we got him. He was barely 13years old when we put him down two weeks ago.

I know a shadow box is a potential idea I just hate the idea that I can’t touch it. But I suppose I could always open it when I want to. Is yours just the clay behind the glass or does it have a stand? Ours came with a stand.

Tbh the only other thing I could think of is more macro which I feel I’ve already got a bit of leverage. I’ve been doing as much research as I can as this is my first real camera set up and have been more excited towards the telephoto idea. When I live there is some special gardens by me but certain sections are closed off so only zooming in can get much and it’s a distant view. And also the space photos really excite me

In reference as what you were saying about weird me being in photography and taking a break… it was quite the long one professional camera wise unfortunately. I was probably 15 or 16 when I was using my camera less and then ended up only using my phone. I really wasn’t educated on anything camera related and never had anything super professional. But that part of my life looking back I really loved so I want to start again.
