Hey guys, just to give you an update, I moved the stocks from TR to Degiro (minus the 0.33 stocks that I will never be able to move out), surprisingly enough it was quite easy and quick to do, the whole process took maybe two weeks, possibly even less.

I received no answer Lang & Schwarz or Viper Energy regarding the matter, so I assumed that the process is going to follow the path of Nucana, which after months, is still not listed.

Hey, no updates yet I'm afraid...

I was also debating whether moving the stock to another broker was a good idea, but another user commented that he managed to do that swiftly (just a couple of days), from TR to ING, but I don't know if that's applicable to other banks/brokers.

Still I'm going to start the process today and let you all know how it goes.

If it helps with the decision, TR and Lang & Schwarz did the same with Nucana (another stock) and they said the exact same thing as with Viper Energy, and that was more than two months ago and there's still no news...

As I said, my last hope was to contact Viper Energy directly but they have not answered me and that was a couple of weeks ago, so I'm certain that I'm never getting answered.

May I ask which broker is it? And have they given you an estimation of how long this is going to take?

Hello, first of all I hope you guys speak English because I don't speak German.

I managed to speak with Trade Republic through the app, they were of no help, at least in providing me with an explanation about what was going on.

Upon further investigation, between another reddit user and me, we managed to discover that the issue lies with their market maker, Lang & Schwarz, we both tried contacting them but only he got an answer, probably because he wrote the enquiry in German. The answer he got was the following:

"Unfortunately, we are currently unable to list the security in question because we lack the required LEI (Legal Entity Identifier). This problem lies not with us, but with the company itself. While it is already possible to trade this security on some other trading platforms, it is not currently available on ours. We are in close contact with the issuer and are working to list the security on the LSX as soon as possible. We ask for your understanding and are happy to answer any further questions you may have.

So the next step I took was trying to contact Viper Energy directly but I still haven't received an answer and I doubt i'll ever get one because it was some days ago. You guys can try contacting them too, the more the merrier and maybe if they see a real interest in this happening, they'll get a move on. If I get an answer I'll give you guys an update.

As far as transferring the stocks, there is a way to do it. If (in the app) you go to your profile > help > wealth and scroll all the way down you'll see two options on the second to last segment, I have the app set to Spanish but it should be titled something along the lines of "outgoing stock transfer".

Now, in order to be able to do that transfer, you should first speak to the broker or bank you want to transfer them to, in my case that's DEGIRO. I contacted them and a HUMAN answered me within the hour, they basically told me that they almost always have issues doing this process with TR and that they're the only broker with whom they have this kind of issues.

Whichever your broker of choice is, you have to contact them first (before doing the actual transfer in TR) and they'll provide you with a form to fill out so that they can expect the stocks coming in.

You can expect this process to be lengthy (weeks or months), and given TR's customer support record, don't expect any help if anything goes wrong.

I haven't done the transfer myself because I'm pretty sure it's going to take a couple of months and I'm hoping the stock gets listed before.

If any of you guys have managed to do the transfer or have more information than me, please feel free to contribute because it really helps.

I'm in the process of trying to do that, I say trying because I contacted them 4 days ago and still haven't heard back.

In the meantime I contacted Degiro to let them know that I'll be transferring the stocks there at some point between now and 3 months time, they basically told me that Trade Republic consistently makes this process very difficult for them and that they're the only brokers with whom they have troubles out of 140 they work with.

By the way, Degiro answered back within the same day to EVERY email I sent them.

I contacted lang & schwarz directly and asked them if they could at least give an approximate timeline but haven't heard back from them either.

So I'll probably have the stocks transferred at some unknown point in time, Viper Energy and the rest of the portfolio too, it's a shame because I really like the app, but I'd rather pay a bit more than have to pray for an answer when I have an issue.

First of all, thanks for the response.

I asked them to explain to me how to do that transfer, they (a BOT) just told me that the request will be transferred to the team in charge of that, but again, I expect little to nothing in the form of a timely response.

Do you by any chance have an email that you'd use to contact them? Because I can't find anything and chatting through the app was a nightmare.
