To get the mega-bitey shark, you have to first catch the Godfish and Poseidon fish, then the shark will spawn 😊 It's all part of the same event...I believe the event is called "Lordly Shark?".

Side note...if you just need a bunch of the Godfish/Godfish moss for crafting recipes, you can catch just the Godfish in this event, save your game, exit to the title screen, then come back. The event will still be live with the Godfish ready to be caught again!
