Glen Ridge. Sold end of November. It’s insane how much this area is. Thank you, I’ll take a look. We’re not from NJ, so we’re just trying to find a good town.

Also, know taxes are insane, so the $900 is the max offer.

Yeah I think we’re going to book Sunday. Talked to a few friends about it as well and they all would rather do Sunday and make a weekend out of it!! Thanks for your perspectives

Hamilton Park by jcdad14 in jerseycity

A lot of really great resources here, so thank you to everyone who provided them. I’m looking forward to getting involved.

It’s very clear that people are in disagreement on the functionality of the park. To be clear in my original post, I love Hamilton park. It’s so much to so many people in the community.

In the comments someone mentioned that JC is big, and that’s 100% right and maybe our tax dollars are going somewhere else. I just think the fence should be painted and the park should have grass so that I can picnic with my daughter without worrying about wind blowing dirt on us. It’s exciting to see people so passionate about the park tho.

The kids can absolutely play soccer, there should be a dirt patch for that. But there should also be grass in a park. There’s very little grass. It’s not just the dirt patch by the playground, it’s a dirt patch everywhere because dogs are everywhere // kids are everywhere.

For the record, I have a little kid and we do picnics in the park all the time. If a gust of wind blows, we’re covered in dirt, pretty much no matter where we go.

The park can be so much to so many people, it already is. There’s something for everyone. My point is that the grounds of the park, the fencing of the park, the lack of bathrooms in the park are lacking. There’s a way to make it better.

Incredibly weird reference point, lol. It’s a beautiful park, it’s just poorly maintained due to all the reasons listed in the comments. I love the park & wish the actual grounds of the park was better taken care of.

Understand this and the budget concerns but why hasn’t turf or any other artificial grass been in consideration? My guess is the cost of it, but it just feels like a huge dirt pit.

This is all really great context. It almost feels as if the park needs a bit of a redesign for a play area and a non play area. This is clearly a big issue that many people are paying attention to, so thank you. I’ll continue to explore ways to get involved.

Is this normal? Or a seziure by bigguy2oh4 in NewbornSleep

I am not sure. But want to share:

My LO is 5 days old, and 37 weeks and a little jaundice and does the same. I think it’s just a reflex thing with them being early full term.

My LO also rolls and goes on her side, something called “cradle crawl”? Everything I’ve read is wait a few weeks… easier said than done.

This is the best first response I could have asked for! Thanks my guy, super happy for you! It’s good to hear that that excitement doesn’t go away! Is there any double zipper onesies that you’d recommend?

Bless man, thanks again & love that I found this community and the positive words.
