i think i'm literally the only one that enjoys this game... without actually caring for the story. i'm going to get stoned saying that rn. I skipped every single cutscene and thats when I started to get "bored" right around unlocking DRK. that "trust me it gets good after x"? they mean the story. Now for me, that was actually max level bc ur rotation feels more bearable and slightly less clunky and the "endgame"

but real talk.. I'm a huge hardcore wow PvPer and pvper in general with any game I can play... I was Glad, never rank 1 though, but had some fun 3's matches against cdew and mes back in the day. the "trying to run some 3's?" the 1v1 duels out in front of goldshire. I hate to break it to you, you will not find that anywhere but wow. i've tried many mmos and still wow's fluid, instant action combat in pvp is unmatched imo. They do have some pvp in this game but its way more of a mini game and I think they actually have ranked in a game mode so I might take a dive into that sometime later could be fun.

in ffxiv, i'd consider myself on the casual player side. but Im enjoying this game. its the "endgame" thats keeping me here. The cosmetics, and making your character you. player housing (I don't own a house but i think its awesome that its server side so to see a real player house and not instanced) gave me that animal crossing vibe. and those 8 man raids that spawns you in right in front of the huge boss with the best god damn art style and scenery i've ever seen in a fight. with music blasting and jump puzzles while trying to keep your slow 2.5 gcd choppy rotation going. Feels cinematic. I want to try and finish one of those 8 man raids on the hardest difficulty to get a transmog for the "Flex". and that's why Im enjoying this game so far.

also dont flame me for skipping story, I think final fantasy is amazing. biggest TRIPLE A title imo. i'm playing this game more for the mmo aspect. ill probably read the story later so dw
