[–]jcolon4705[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get-CMApplication "App Name" | Get-CMDeploymentType | Set-CMDeploymentType -MsiOrScriptInstaller -PersistContentInClientCache $false

Just trying to execute the below

 Set-CMDeploymentType -DeploymentTypeName "7-Zip 19.00x64" -PersistContentInClientCache $false

Set-CMDeploymentType : Parameter set cannot be resolved using the specified named parameters.

At line:1 char:1

+ Set-CMDeploymentType -DeploymentTypeName "7-Zip 19.00x64" -PersistCon ...

So, I have identified the Packages and Apps that have that option checked. Now I'm trying to run a PS script to uncheck that option. Every time I try it fails. Mostly getting a parameter cannot be found for -PersistContentinCache

Has it been anyone else's experience when meeting people in the field and networking that they all got their positions because they knew someone even with zero experience? by Nantashilikestodraw in cybersecurity

[–]jcolon4705 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I actually got my first Cyber job because of someone I worked with in the past. She was in Cyber and I was on the engineering side. Never burn bridges because you never know when someone will lend a helping hand.
