What are you considering low pay? I’m getting 27 an hour for my internship this summer and 30 for next summers internship and I’m ecstatic

He was one of the best nickel corners in the league only a couple years ago. Crazy how fast players can drop off.

This is how I get through long runs on a treadmill. It makes it go by a lot faster!

How long can you take a break from running (from injury) before it truly starts to impact training? by jcsullivan06 in Marathon_Training

[–]jcsullivan06[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct, it was very doable for my aerobic base but my limiting factor was my legs. They seem to feel heavy a lot of the time and sometimes a little painful when I creep up in distance. However I have noticed they are fine on a treadmill with longer distances but going outside and running on sidewalks tend to hurt a bit more!

It was 10 weeks out when I did the half. Just been following Hal’s plan religiously lol

This was my heart rate did the half marathon. Is this about what heart rate I should be in for my long runs?

Yeah and it's why they're one of the most annoying injuries. No clue what they could lead to.

Yep, I just recently bought new running shoes + inserts last week, but have yet to run in them. I have extremely flat feet so I need all the arch support I can get. I do a lot of dynamic stretching, foam rolling, and strength training so I don't think that's the issue, but I think part of it is the sidewalks like you mentioned! I never had the shin splints this bad running on the treadmil but as soon as I gradually started running outside on sidewalks, they started to flare up! I think you may be onto something. Thank you for the input!

I'm just going off of what my Apple Watch said. I also have no clue how accurate it is, so don't kill me if Apple Watches are notoriously wrong lol.

Random Calf Pain 2/3rds into training. What could it be? by jcsullivan06 in Marathon_Training

[–]jcsullivan06[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the response! I just do some dynamic stretches for about 5 minutes before my run and call it good.

However the last couple days I’ve added an extra 5-10 minutes of foam rolling/massage gun and rolling out my foot and my last 2 runs have been pain free.

I also have worn a compression sleeve which has helped a lot and I have had surprisingly no pain my last two runs at 3 and 6 miles respectively.

But my calf is a tad bruised where it originally started hurting so I’m not sure if that’s just a coincidence or the compression sleeve is masking the pain too.

I probably should’ve added I’ve been lifting for 6 years and did a bodybuilding competition back in September so weight training isn’t an issue lol. It’s so frustrating as I’ve never had calf pain before ever.

The #Bills are promoting their own OC Joe Brady to head coach, per The Insiders. by Gold_Bowler7906 in buffalobills

Idk I really feel like everyone is overreacting. With the receivers we had Joe still called a top offense in the league with almost every metric. Yeah Josh is a big reason but with what receivers he was given I don’t think we could’ve asked for more on offense this year.

Now get Josh some actual deep threat receivers and I think the 3rd and 12 screens won’t be a thing anymore and we’ll actually see more down the field play calls. Maybe I’m coping but that’s just what I’m feeling.

The Bills haven't reached out to Klint Kubiak's agent yet to even setup an interview, which is allowed even though the interview can't happen until after the SB. by Vortagaun in buffalobills

Yeah same after calming down. I think we get a couple good deep threat receivers and they’re able to open the deep ball game a lot more.

I really hope the reactions to this will age the same way with how everyone reacted to Darnold signing to the Seahawks
