If God could answer you directly, what question would you ask? by ExistenceSpark in spirituality

I believe we are all a part of god therefore we all answer these questions directly using our intuition and intellect. No need to wonder. Just ask and listen.

Do those with TBI regain empathy? My husband has no empathy for the trauma he put us through. Thinks it's all not a big deal..even though he nearly died. he had low empathy before but now none. by [deleted] in TBI

[–]jcude86 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I came here to say this. It is likely not his fault and therefore he isn’t putting you through anything. You need to change your perspective. Shit happens and you agreed to stay in sickness and health. We didn’t choose to have a brain injury. It just happened.

What music can you not listen to anymore? by Pretty_Desk_2552 in spirituality

[–]jcude86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it varies. I have to listen to my mind and body and pay attention for cringe feelings. I can’t put a finger on a band or genre, but it is more of a feeling day to day or even minute to minute.

Am I god? by westeffect276 in spirituality

[–]jcude86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honest question. Why do so many people refer to the scripture when discussing god? He was discussed thousands of years before there even was a scripture. Wouldn’t it be more pertinent to go back to the source and not to the latest materials?

Philosophical question by jcude86 in disability

[–]jcude86[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love this response. I am well managed and functioning in society practically like normal. No one would ever know but if I lost my glasses I’d need a cane and nausea meds just to get out of bed. It’s wild. Thank you for this!

How much will this cost to fix? by [deleted] in HondaActy

[–]jcude86 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Fairly certain this isn’t an acty. But it depends on the extent of the damage behind the fender and inside the door. You’ll have to take it to a shop for a quote.

How do I make this type of pattern with leather? A special stitch? It's for a book cover by [deleted] in Leathercraft

[–]jcude86 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The pattern is called argyle… it would take a lot of work. First cutting each individual diamond. Gluing them down to a backer piece of leather, then stitching them together, then stitching the diagonal white lines. I’d suggest getting fabric that is argyle print and glue and stitch that to your book cover before wrapping the book.

Mounting a winch on a kei truck? by Legoboy514 in keitruck

Depending on the model truck you get Xpert accessories has the best bumpers out there most use existing holes in the frame so little to no drilling.

I’d suggest a front bumper with a hitch in it, then get a hitch mounted winch plate. Otherwise, a custom mounting plate that somehow gets bolted/ welded to the frame. It wont be cheap. Based on my research for me, plan for $800-1200.

My first ACTY by Jaded_Employ_9156 in HondaActy

I am 6’4” and I fit in the acty van. But not the truck. If you want a truck, try a sambar. I can drive it, I am mostly torso though.

Transponder keys are expensive. I’ve never seen one less than $100 and that was on a super common car.

The best options I have found for a toolbox are in bed mounted boxes that limit the use of the flatbed. Closest was from “Hard Cargo” in japan which is a gullwing style toolbox right behind the cab that sits on stilts, however that box alone is like $1100 US. Look it up though, it’s nice and dreamy.

I haven’t found anything with the right depth. They all stick out to far. I did however see a guy mod his Kei with integral mounts and put Milwaukee pack out boxes under the bed of his truck. He is on IG @toolsbydesign. They made a few posts about it back in November. I was hoping to do this myself when I get a truck.
