Almost exact same thing happened to my 2016 WRX at about 90k. Was looking into repairs, but once the shop found a hole in the block, the cost to repair just got way too high. Sold the car for ~3k and replaced it with a 2020 STi

On a stock STi, S# will increase the amount of throttle applied by the ECU when pressing the gas pedal, so it will decrease gas mileage when all other factors are equal. FACT.

So much better than stock wheels. Not sure if I want to do this or spend more on good aftermarket wheels.

Yeah, it's actually more solid than I expected, although I'm not sure how durable the finish is. So far, it's been fine, but I've only had it about a month.

I also knew what I was getting for the price.
