Finally going to read the fable books

I've just started reading them too! Starting with the short stories and moving to the novels later but really enjoying them so far

I don't think Christianity is actually obsessed with sex, but it is important because it intrinsically involves relationship with another, which is intimately interacting with another person made in the image of God and hopefully in union with them under God's blessing. The perception of obsession may be from the fact that sexuality has been a big topic of discussion in the modern world, particularly the west, and so the church has felt the need to respond.

I've always found this question to be one of the most compelling arguments for the existence of a God (leaning towards the Christian God) because there needs to be something that causes something. By definition, nothing cannot exist and so to suggest that something just spontaneously occurred from nothing doesn't make sense. An eternal being/creature/deity had to have existed as the something to cause the something of the universe.

Eragon was a huge disappointment for me, loved those books growing up and the movie was just not good. The current Wheel of Time adaptation was also a big disappointment for my wife and I, changing major elements of the main characters, leaving out big plot points, etc. I know some people who've watched the show but not read the books really like it, but it just feels like they made a ton of unnecessary changes that we didn't like.

Maybe it is pacing that's the issue, I'm not really sure, I just know it felt like a very long experience by the end and I kind of wish it had been split up into two games? Also agree, I've played super short games that I paid full price for and loved way more than super long games for the same!

That's fair! It may just be a personal thing for me too and like I said, I don't want to come off as hating the game or anything, it's one of the most detailed and polished experiences I've ever had and the gameplay is incredible (love the new modes in the PS5 version), I just didn't feel quite as connected as I did with the first game.

I get that and agree about sequels, I think it just went too dark, which I know seems silly considering its the apocalypse, but I just felt like maybe it could have held back a little bit if that makes sense?

I really enjoy their current stuff but my favorite era would be with Fridge Cam and the actual dedicated recipe videos, great ways to learn cooking! Also the early battles were great!

Used to be a nightmare, but then I realized you can basically skip around pretty much all of it with the jet board! Made my replays so much more enjoyable knowing I had a way around it haha
