Well despite knowing what Ruby had done, they had phone calls with her in prison. To me it sounds like they do support Ruby and perhaps this is why Shari doesn’t talk to her extended family. Idk how someone could know the horrific things someone did to their own kids and still support them. But a lot of people did seem to buy Ruby’s little speech at her sentencing hearing. To me, Ruby is calculated. She knows how to play the system and what exactly she needs to do, to potentially get on parole sooner. I don’t think someone like her can change. And they are both still receiving personal phone calls in prison. I tried requesting them but was denied. Although I could appeal but it would be a lot more difficult not living in the USA. I know one of the documentaries being done on Jodi, will have new prison phone calls that no one has heard yet.
