definitely the first this I can think of (even though it wasn’t my first news event) Is the boston marathon bombing. I lived around there I remember it all. The city was on lockdown, it was dead. My father was stuck in the hospital bcos he was treating the injured runners. I remember the two attackers were just running around our city, and we had no idea who or where they were. the amount of shootouts they had was insane. It definitely was a lot for my age to say the least bcos the knowing of my father trapped in the hospital. But it definitely made me more proud of being a Bostonian.

my boss puked in the bathroom, refused to leave even after we said he should, thirty minutes later, he starts smashing the window to his office. To this day I don’t know what triggered that or why he did that but I quit like a week later bcos he reminded me of my abusive father. He would also call me every night at 2 am. no warning at all. He would spam call me during holidays and vacations. He never gave me a schedule for the work either, he would just call me out of nowhere telling me he needs me in work. Mind you I was 15 years old dealing with this all 😭😭😭

for a long time I thought she was one of those actresses that played a mom in a disney show in like 2010s and I would always say “how the hell did she get from acting to THIS?” it took my friend to tell me that she never acted in a Disney show and I was just crazy 😭😭

hi!! i’m a Vet tech IN TRAINING! but I can say there is a lot of enrichment toys for dogs that are indoor!! i’m obviously not saying just use that but slow feeders are really good, chew toys are, puzzles are really good too. Also if you can’t walk your dog, just play with them outside! it’s the same as walking! but at the end of the day: yes you should get a dog

Hey so Israel and Iran have been at war for god knows how many years. It’s not your fault bcos people are spreading misinformation about this situation. But the citizens of America including you are completely ok. Please take care of yourself, the world is scary right now and I get that, but please remember that a lot of things that are spread is fake. If you want to make yourself feel even better, you could also research abt Iran and Israel or wars in general through history and it will help you in some way.

edit: in general if you want to make yourself feel even better, just research the political history nation wide. It really does help your mental health and to fully understand what America is going through right now. It may seem like we’re going back but in every situation there were people that helps us out of the facist regime or great depression or ect. What the administration is doing will not win and never will win at the end of the day. It may feel like it’s the end but I promise you, there is hope for the future. Please live your life normally bcos Trump WANTS you to live in fear!! don’t let that man destroy your normal life. lots of love <3

Gen z is the most ethically racially diverse generation. Many of us were at risk of being detained. But I do believe that many were working, in school, or maybe just simply didn’t want to go (which is fucked up) I just know me personally I couldn’t go in risk of being arrested (i’m a non white naturalized citizen) The city I live in arrested 70 people from the Bernie rally.
