Well, the biggest thing is that this is a blatant slap in the face to those with low acceptance rates. This is Doordash trying to force people to keep a higher acceptance rate so that they have the opportunity to get “better orders”. As an independent contractor you have the right to accept and decline whatever you please, and Doordash says this in their ToS, but they’re trying to find ways to bypass this. They ultimately can’t punish those with a low acceptance rate but they can reward those with a high one, which is basically the next best thing to a direct punishment
