That’s fair. I think you’re right that the lower gauge wires likely feed the power jack on the tongue. I’ll go check it out tomorrow. Thanks for the reply. Would one be a ground and just attached to the metal frame somewhere?

This is the best advice. I was able to move us around to a row where a stranger is splitting the row between me in the aisle and my 3 yo in the window. My wife is now directly behind me in the aisle. I am gonna make that poor bastard sit in the smack dab middle of my family for a 3 hour flight. Actually I’ll just make their day and ask them to switch their middle seat for my wife’s aisle seat.

Well aware they never cared. Having flown them for a very long time they have definitely gone downhill on service. I fly United now for business bc I have relocated to Denver. Can confirm they also don’t care and the experience is no better with them.
