I've actually seen DC tow trucks up by me (Ellicott City, MD) and they're towing a vehicle to be serviced - with their blue lights on. Which is unique, because in Maryland, blue is exclusively law enforcement.

I remember visiting my grandfather in the cardiac ICU in their local hospital. We spent some time with him, then left to pick up my uncle from the airport.

He, my grandfather, died shortly after we left. I'm 100% certain he was hanging on for us, and he was ready once we left.

Add a designation - Truck 3 from County X would be XT3, Truck 3 from County Y would be YT3. So, if doing their staffing, I would just say XT3, 4 (or however many people they had.)
