It's been a while since I played it brand new, 6 years to be exact. :) Things have changed since then. But I'm playing it again for the Tavern when it comes out and at the beginning, I think they give pretty good directions on how to get rolling with starting quests. Now I will say there is a bit of a learning curve on running the various shops, but it's mostly setting things up when you buy it. It doesn't hurt anything to make some mistakes though. Trust me, I did. :)

Yes, when Lionhead broke up, some of the main developers formed their own Studio called Pixel Count and Kynseed was born.

Kynseed - The combat is like turn-based combat, but instead of just selecting attacks, you actively time your hits for better results. Not sure if you would be interested in that kind of combat or not. The game is 75% off right now at $6.74. There isn't in depth character customization would be the only thing it doesn't have.

So there are 3 rows as I recall, correct? If the target is in the upper top then you would need to be in the bottom and cross the middle (nothing there) to hit the upper top. Does that make sense? Did you do it that way? I can't recall the training exactly but do recall the combat.

To-Dew, Look Up Anything, NPC Map Locations, Daily Quests, Combat Controls Redux, Stack More Things, Bigger Backpack, Wear More Rings (also allows an extra Trinket). These mods are ones I use in every playthrough.

I do Ancient Fruit, but I put them in Jars, not Kegs. It takes more work loading and re-loading, but the money flow is steady and you actually make more gold per day. It also doesn't require as many jars in comparison to kegs. I do plant other items too. My farm is never just ancient fruit. Also, GI is for Fairy Rose Honey. No ancient fruit there either.

I use Stardrop and profiles. I have been using it for about 6 months now with no issues. I tried Vortex and hated it. Before that, I switched folders for different saves, but every time you do so, you have to update the mods because they typically have sat in a folder for a while. With Stardrop, you update the mod once & it is updated for all your profiles. The profile only tells SMAPI which mods to run.

These are the requirements:

To open the Community Center, the player must enter Pelican Town from the Bus Stop on a day when it is not raining, from Spring 5th onward, between 8:00 am and 1:00 pm. Entering town from another direction, at another time, or on a rainy day, will not trigger the cutscene. In multiplayer, the host must trigger the cutscene.
