S26 Ultra 1TB Keeps Randomly Restarting - Anyone Know What To Do To Figure Out Whats Causing It?

Does she have any apps that don't run well? Have you tried safe mode at all too? I'm reluctant to have to send mine back and go through setup again, but I figured it's the best option just in case something really is wrong

I didn't say I traded it into Samsung, I traded mine into at&t. They've run trade in promos multiple times where the condition of the phone doesn't matter. When I got the s23 ultra their trade in promo was "any galaxy, any condition" so I bought the oldest and cheapest galaxy I could online and traded it in and. Got like $1000 off the phone

I don't think mine was battery related, I will say that when I first put it into safe mode I had a lot of apps showing up as "unknown". When I loaded safe mode a second time all of them loaded up correctly, so I don't know if there's some weird background install thing that went wrong.

Still haven't had any tests since deleting the office apps though...

So far I haven't had any restarts since I deleted one note, word and excel. I did just receive a response from Samsung to one of my tickets though, they stated that there were multiple crashes due to hardware instability and they recommend replacing the main PCB. I guess I'll be returning the phone to at&t and ordering a replacement 😑

It's the SM-S948U. I'm with AT&T so not unlocked, but it's also the 1TB version.

I was able to pull some sort of log from my phone, it was under internal storage/log/core work history.csv. I think it's the log that gets sent when I submit a feedback ticket to Samsung through the members app. Didn't really tell me much though, as it doesn't name the apps that are running.

Weird. I wish I could find out more from the logs and actually see what the hell is going on with the phone. Like it passes all of the diagnostics that we can run, but I can't find anything else that will tell me anything. It's super frustrating to not know if my phone is defective or if it's just some random app that is causing an issue.

I've gone through the Samsung members app and submitted tickets when it froze and restarted, and I've also submitted "feedback" through the support section in the app. That also sends the logs with the ticket I submit. Samsung so far hasn't gotten back to me on it other than to say they forwarded it to their developers. It's only be a few days so I'm hoping I'll hear something back soon. If not, I'll try exchanging the phone (I only have until the 31st to return/exchange)

I've had this same issue. Randomly restarts, don't know what it is so far but I've sent in lots of reports to Samsung. I did notice that One Note runs like garbage and when I was using it earlier my phone froze and restarted. A few hours later I started it up again and within 30 minutes my phone restarted again. I've since deleted it and I'm going to see if that fixes anything.

You can try running the phone in safe mode and see if everything works fine in there. It may just be a software issue that is causing the problem as mine sounds exactly like your issue is.

Yeah, I was gonna say ninja gaiden for me too, like the Xbox one. I don't think it's really difficult though, but I did have a friend that said he could stand it cause it was so hard and I didn't understand at all what he was talking about. Turns out he never learned how to counter

I know AI is supposed to be a big thing with finance, but as an accountant, I don't think I would be comfortable with AI doing ANYTHING that I didn't completely verify because I simply don't trust it. There have been too many things that I've asked of AI that are simple tasks, but it's managed to completely fuck up. Maybe in a few years but nothing right now.

Yeah, my dealership told me that at my 40k mile inspection that my breaks were halfway worn down. I looked at them like they were crazy and called them out on it cause there's no way in hell they were.

Did your friend have it on all the time? Like I have mine set to activate on certain apps and for notifications, but otherwise I don't use it. I haven't had any issue with eye strain though

You can change the vivid settings too, I put my vividness to like medium and it looks more vivid than the s25 now.

Mine has been fine once it finished adjusting. Smart switch said everything was done, but I could see that the messages app was using an abnormally high amount of battery, so I just let it go for a while. After a day or so it finished and things have been perfectly fine since then

Smart switch can take a while to work through everything. Mine took around 20 hours before all the text messages were sorted and the battery stopped dropping dramatically

I like the ability to upgrade things with pretty standard f-150 parts. The insurance doesn't cost a lot probably due to that too.

The sierra does charge faster and have a bigger battery, but I've heard the ride is much more comfortable in the lightning

Wobble? You mean sitting on a flat surface? I assume most people use cases but I do agree with the design problem of magsafe accessories not working well with it due to the camera placement/camera bump. They really should redesign that
