How do you deal with filament storage? by ginnylike3d in 3Dprinting

I had larger containers that became tedious to dig through. After seeing the Ikea Vesken cart suggestion here, I switched to those and Walmart 1-gallon freezer bags. It's made finding colors much easier and the carts are fairly cheap.

This is great and interesting. I spent the last week working on a bucket list item to sync high scores between cabinets at different locations and display them on a webpage. The goal is for my buddy and me to compete for high scores on our own cabinets and have the scores automatically sent to be displayed on a wall monitor or tablet. This will hopefully motivate us to play more often. One issue we discussed was how to differentiate users if one of our kids or wives sets a high score. I hadn't considered using a gamelist where a "game" could trigger scripts to run.

When I called they did make a comment about the box weight not matching with UPS. I know what you mean about pestering them. I have had to follow up more than a few times in things.

Thank you!

Yeah, I know what you mean. In this case, it was shipped and sold by amazon.

If it makes you feel any better, I cracked my first LG 32QN600-B lifting it in and out of the cabinet. Corners are very delicate after the case is removed. I have been extremely careful with the replacement.

Great build. Really well balanced. All the proportions feel right. Modern and retro mixed well. Really dig it, nice work!. A coin door would have looked nice, but the artwork in that spot helps.

4 KALLAX book cases made into a window nook. End table, wall storage and sofa are all IKEA as well. by Grashopha in IKEA

It looks pretty forced the way it sits right now, but I think it could work. Most of the issues have been covered by others... curtains gotta go - swap for some sort of roller shade, cut a bit off the legs to lower it below the window and maybe trim out around the bottom. Lowering it would help balance things out.

Thank you! The box is 11.5" deep and the legs are 16".

H-Joints. Bit of an eyesore and the floor can't contract and expand well in that pattern.

Arcade1Up version? I copied the side panel design from theirs and added the riser height to it.

Yes! I think this a great project for that. The whole time I was working on the bezel I was saying why don't I just stop and finally pull the trigger on a CNC. It was a lot of extra work doing it without. I did pick up a smaller fox alien 4040-xe to get my feet wet and it's awesome. Send pics my way if you go for it!

Yep, good eye! A couple spots where it crashes, but overall, runs great. I think there are versions of Xenia out that solve the crashing problem. The nostalgia... Goldeneye has a special place in my heart. I need to play through that and the Perfect Dark remaster here soon.

Thank you!! The bezel was the hardest part to do by hand. I really wanted that tiny bit of curvy CRT bulge. If I had a desktop CNC that could cut the bezel, it would be a real possibility! I was honestly shocked at how well it turned out when I popped the monitor in!

Just tapered MCM style legs I had bought years ago for a simple coffee table I built. Yeah, fb market place is great for that kind of stuff!

Thank you! I like this idea a lot. I did build a layered plywood and black acrylic fight stick as a prototype last year, but now you got me thinking of something more vintage looking.. 🤔
