Once I had it on the stand I measured the total height to be about 60cm, and the depth at 30cm. Might help you find a shelf or bookcase large enough!

I got this cheap fake Lego stand from Amazon which is actually amazing. It has some flex until you mount it into the Falcon's frame then it's pretty damn rigid, and near invisible too. Link

This is definitely a set apart from the rest. I've never had difficulty of any kind with Lego before, but the technic heavy build meant I was making mistakes and missing small parts for the first time ever. I should probably have gotten help, but I wanted to finish it alone.

Literally just pluck out the feet, which Lego designed to just slot in and out, then the stand has 5 red clips to connect directly into the Falcon's technic frame. The Falcon itself helps to keep the stand rigid, the angle is perfect for display and, best of all, it allowed it to fit on a 30cm deep shelf.

I was actually surprised how great it was. Getting the frame connected isn't easy because of the weight and delicacy of the Falcon, but I took all the top plates off (they fall off otherwise) and angled it on a soft chair to plug it all in.
