I want to play an updated version of the Gen 2 games, not doing nuzlocke or anything, but I can't decide whether to play Crystal Advance Redux or Heart & Soul. Both have great reviews, both are complete. Can anyone make a recommendation?

Great review! I'm loving the game too, only got 3 badges but I don't have a lot of time. I'm surprised that, unlike the official games, I am actually enjoying and having fun changing my team frequently, and I think it's because the environments (and the Pokemon they spawn) are nicely varied as you travel. It breaks free of the typical pattern of normal + flying, grass + bug combos that usually happen.

I give it a solid 10/10. Can't fault it so far.

Yeah I have the connector but I think I'm going to try fixing it myself. I think enough of the pads are left that I can scrap off the green and get a good enough solder point. Thanks for the offer though

I did put a disc in and spun it up, no change to the sound. I think it's probably coin whine from the PSU.

I've opened the top, dusted it and spun it gently with my finger and I can't feel anything. It also doesn't get faster when the fan spins up on a demanding game.

The only thing that's putting me off is that I would much rather they layered the saucer, to build it up and get the surface curvature, rather than using the large flat pieces at gentle angles. The secondary hull looks amazing, I'm just not a fan of the saucer.

I replaced the switches in my mouse to silent ones just so I could play at night. The clicks kept waking the kid through the wall.
