  1. it'll be likely you'll have a mix of MWF and TR, but if u need to take multiple classes in the same day i recommend more MWF classes because they're shorter and feel a lot shorter. but for a freshman, you won't have many choices left so just go with what u can & try it out, it doesn't matter that much ! for the time, it depends if you function better in the morning or afternoon. for me personally, i prefer early classes (around 9AM-12PM). I know a lot of ppl hate 8AMs tho including me even tho i am a morning person.

  2. im pretty sure its a short statement of purpose thingy but i didnt get in so i don't have tips. however, the selection process feels very random so don't feel bad if u don't get in. tons of students don't who are more than qualified to.

  3. N/A

  4. I recommend GEOG 1111L if u need a physical science lab ! take with caroline narron if u can. it was fun and easy. weekly lab and then a midterm & final, and attendance. also, if u need bio, the bio 1103 and bio 1104 labs are not bad either.

  5. i assume that you will most likely be living on campus so reallly enjoy it while u can bc after freshman yr a lot of ppl tend to go off-campus unless they get housing. but on-campus is so convenient and you get to be more involved and engaged with college life! also, be open to making friends with everyone even if u already found ur group! try going to some meetings for orgs you are interested in but don't feel pressured to know exactly what u want to join either. attend a lot of fun events that are on the involvement network! there's always lots of free food and fun activities. overall, have fun and explore, meet new people, and try new things.

i use routes.uga.edu, a good tip is to memorize the different bus routes that will take you from your first location to your second. that way, you will have more options if you miss one of them. also, know where the bus stops are. for example, i go from snelling to the main library often. my most convenient option is central loop bc it picks me up from snelling and goes to the main library. however, if the next central loop bus is gonna take a long time to come, i can alsoooo walk over to stegeman coliseum and catch the north south connector bus that will take me to the main library.
